I've spent my career where the data actually matters — running the data pipelines businesses quietly depend on, leading engineering teams, and translating hard technical tradeoffs into plain language for the people who have to make the call.
Along the way I've taught data engineering, shipped in production across AWS, Azure, and GCP, and focused on the two things that quietly decide whether a data organization thrives: what the cloud costs, and whether the data underneath can be trusted.
